Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jazz loves it!!! My almost 17 year old kitty has been having issues with urinary tract infections for over a year. This past February I didn't think she was going to make it. She got down to 4 lbs, very weak, no appetite. We gave her antibiotics that cleared up the infection but we still had a hard time getting her to eat. I got her the Iams for Seniors aobut 3 weeks ago and she absolutely loves it! She almost climbed in the bag when I opened it. She is up to 5 lbs now and is almost back to her old self. Up on the bathroom vanity to drink water straight from the faucet. She hasn't done that for almost 8 months. Bright eyed, full of energy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent results! My Annie is seventeen years old. She was having problems trying to chew the dry food I had her on due to the hard kibbles. I asked my vet what I could buy for her and she didn't have a clue, needless to say I have changed vets. IAMS Sr. Lively was perfect for her. She loves it and races around like a kitten at times even with an arthritic hip! I have started feeding my twelve year old, Sophie, this as well and so far so good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 11+ years Lively Senior but no KIDNEY SUPPORT ?? It would seem intuitively obvious that an older cat could benefit from some kidney support in your dry food. You have nice diagrams on the bag, but surprisingly, no kidney drawing. I know you sell a separate blend under a Veterinarian Diet. Certainly do not want to compete with that! But you could include a modest amount of kidney dry food content for older cats, and add another drawing to your bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you're cats are getting old... I highly recommend this food. I noticed my 16 year old guy, despite drinking tons of water, was having dry shriveled stool, and was a little more lethargic than normal. It was time to move to some better food. Less than a week after switching to this food, his poops looked normal again and within 2 weeks, he started running around the house like a maniac, again. This is one of the less expensive specialty foods and well worth it. He's not too picky and so there was pretty much no adjustment time for him either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my 18 yr old loves it I have a tiny 18 y/o cat and it was hard to find her hard food she would eat and we sure dont want her to lose anymore weight. She has arthritis also. We thought we would try the food since we have always had our cats on Iams formulas since they were kittens. We bought a bag to try and she loves it, she is always at it eating away. She seems more perky and happy now, not bad for an 18 almost 19 y/o female kitizen

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ramses thanks you My 14 y/o picky cat Ramses recently completely stopped eating his previous food. A visit and blood test at the vet showed no problems. All levels were normal. The vet suggested just buying a different brand and flavor. After trying 4 different brands, flavors etc Ramses loved this one. I could not be happier and will continue to buy this. Thank you!!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my elderly cat My elderly cat is 18 yrs old. She has arthritis and lots of trouble with bowel movements. I have been feeding her Iams lively senior for several weeks now. I am amazed at how much better she gets around and have seen an improvement with her poo problems. This is the best food I have ever given her. I'm very surprised she is doing so much better. Thanks Iams!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No more hairballs My cat is now 18 years old and for many years she has had trouble with hairballs no matter what cat food formula I tried. Finally with this food the hairballs being expelled are gone. She has lost weight and is a happier cat. The only odd thing is that she has lost a lot of hair but there is fish oil in the food so I am just watching to see if it comes back.
