Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very picky eater My daughters got me my cat. He was eight months old when they said come get your cat. I’ve never been happier. I have to admit he was very picky when it came to eating. He would like some foods then change later. I was worried for his health. Then one of them said to try their food. So I did. At first he barely touched it but within a day and a half, I noticed that yes, he IS eating it! Yay!! That was going on four weeks ago! The best part is that he is looking better and has gained weight, and definitely is healthier, a load of my mind! Thank You IAMs!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unpleasant Reactions I have been using the Iams brand cat food for quite sometime now. I have gone back and forth with either "healthy weight" or "hairball control" and I haven't had any unpleasant side effects. My cats are at all different stages of life. I saw the "High Protein" line for the first time a couple of days ago and wanted to try it. It has only been a few days with it and all of the cats have diarrhea and now throwing up. Could this possibly go away once their system gets used to it, or should I take it back and get a different line? This is not a cheap brand of cat food and I don't want to have to put out more money to switch back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Iams proactive health high protein chicken&salmon My cats have been eating Purina One tuna and salmon for over ten years. Last year they decided to change it. My cats would not eat it at all. I tried several different foods and wasted lots of money. I was told about this new flavor from Iams. From the first bag they loved it. But of course the price has gone up and no one ever has it in stock. Even on line it is hard to find. I will keep looking!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My cats love it! I agree with mdp2. My cats ate Purina One Salmon and Tuna for years. Then Purina changed the recipe and my cats would no longer eat it! I searched for a replacement, tried a few different brands, and then I found this one! My cats love it! We're one big, happy family again!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Why so much Corn products? I was hoping to swtich to Iams after reading review but Corn Grits, Ground Whole Grain Corn are the 2nd and 3rd ingredient leading me to believe that even the high protein formula is a low quality food for my cat. If Corn is supposed to be eaten in moderation by cats why is it in the top 4 ingredients usually above animal protein in every ingredient list I have read on Iams products?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I do like IAMS.. And it's good on nutrition but recently learning our cats don't get what they really need nutritionally. IAMS is great all across the board compared to friskies or kit and kabootal or cat chow. Most of those cat food is no protein and all fillers like chic by products which is what u think it is. It's crazy to find out what some of these companies put in there cat food and are allowed. There is no set guidelines for what goes in their food. As long as it allows the cat to live. No joke people. So im gonna start paying more attention to what I give my furbaby. Cat cancers have risen so much in the last few years and it's all from environmental reasons and what they eat.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Formula changed I was buying this until they started using by product meal as 2nd ingredient. Get the cat hooked, then change the good ingredients foe cheaper ones

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My fiancé and I were originally feeding our fur babies Purina cat food and our girl kept getting sick. She would puke up a lot of the food... not sure if it was an allergy or something else, but we just couldn’t stand keeping them on that food. So we tried Iams instead. We switch the flavor between salmon and chicken (orange and pink bags), and we haven’t had any issues. They seem to like this stuff and no more cleaning up cat puke (thank god!). We will continue to purchase this as long as our kitties are happy.
